The company is forming a U.S. leadership and specialist team, defining roles, structure, hiring standards, decision rights, collaboration, performance and accountability.
The platform is building screening, market analysis, financial and commercial evaluation, consumer and channel analysis, diligence, transaction assessment and post-close integration planning.
Planned capability covers product strategy, formulation, nutrition standards, development, testing, packaging, launch review and lifecycle management with safety, consumer need, supply and commercial viability considered together.
Priorities include supplier qualification, procurement, standards, supply assurance, quality control, traceability, deviation handling, CAPA and continuous improvement.
The commercial foundation includes brand management, channels, retail, e-commerce, pricing, consumer insight, service, repeat purchase and loyalty.
Finance, budgeting, contracts, risk, HR, legal and compliance, management reporting and approval processes will develop with the organization.
Scale will follow the capacity of organization, product, quality, supply chain, commercial and management systems. Milestones will determine whether to build capability or expand.
